As part of POTRANSI we conduct a power analysis of four social innovation trends:

• sharing economy
• eco-communities
• decentralized energy
• participatory democracy

Focusing on the Netherlands, Portugal and United Kingdom, we start by mapping out social innovation networks and initiatives to select cases to study and collaborate with. With their distinct socio-economic and institutional contexts, studying these countries allows us to conduct a comparative analysis.

The case studies will feed into the development of a theoretical framework of power dynamics in transformative social innovation.
